Class Info

Whether you’re looking to improve your fitness, increase your strength and flexibility, or wanting to find a greater sense of ease and calm, there’s a class for you. With class styles currently including yoga, pilates and meditation, I hope you find what you’re after. Beginners and more experienced clients are always welcome at any of my classes.

I currently teach a number of classes at Strathpine (Rebalance Pilates & Yoga), Sandgate (Voodoo Hot Yoga), and Samford (Zen Space). My latest timetable will be uploaded soon with further details – otherwise perhaps we’ll randomly encounter each other on the mat, at the barre or in a pilates reformer class. 😀

Class Styles

  • Vinyasa Flow – A dynamic style of yoga which links different postures together using the breath into a seamless flow. Vinyasa yoga is great for everyone, with lots of different variations in each posture to keep challenging your body and mind – every time you come to your mat will be unique experience.
  • Slow Flow – A gentle flowing practice, incorporating breathing, meditation and moments of stillness to savour. This class provides you with an opportunity to calm and rejuvenate body and mind.
  • Sunday Flow – The perfect way to ease into your Sunday. In this class we’ll enjoy a slower paced flow, with plenty of rest and relaxation mixed in. Sessions may also include short meditations or yoga nidra.
  • Meditation – A regular meditation practice helps relieve stress, reduce anxiety, increase emotional resilience, lower blood pressure, and improve your focus. You’re also likely to sleep more soundly, feel like you’re living life more deeply, and access a greater sense of peacefulness. In today’s often outcome-focussed world of busyness, productivity and deadlines, meditation offers a calming antidote of spaciousness to all that hustle and bustle.

Yoga

The perfect way to revitalise body and mind, stretch the muscles and provide a time out from the everyday stresses of work and the busy nature of modern life. Aside from the re-energising physical benefits of yoga, regular practice also helps to relax the mind and improve body awareness.

I aim to create a calm and welcoming environment where everyone – beginner, advanced or somewhere in-between – has the opportunity to explore their own practice and open themselves up to the joy and wonder which yoga releases from within.

Pilates

A gentle, but challenging series of exercises designed to strengthen the core, increase self awareness, and improve balance. Classes are based on the traditional pilates principles of concentration, precision, breath and flow.

Meditation

A regular meditation practice helps relieve stress, reduce anxiety, increase emotional resilience, lower blood pressure, and improve your focus. You’re also likely to sleep more soundly, feel like you’re living life more deeply, and access a greater sense of peacefulness. In today’s often outcome-focussed world of busyness, productivity and deadlines, meditation offers a calming antidote of spaciousness to all that hustle and bustle.
