Even though it’s been around for centuries, meditation is currently enjoying a resurgence of popularity. And given the incredible range of scientifically-backed benefits, is it any wonder?

A regular meditation practice helps relieve stress, reduce anxiety, increase emotional resilience, lower blood pressure, and improve your focus. You’re also likely to sleep more soundly, feel like you’re living life more deeply, and access a greater sense of peacefulness. In today’s often outcome-focussed world of busyness, productivity and deadlines, meditation offers a calming antidote of spaciousness to all that hustle and bustle.

Over the six weeks you’ll learn different meditation techniques, breathing exercises (pranayama) and practical mindfulness tools which you can incorporate into your everyday life. You’ll also experience guided meditation practices and gentle yoga to help prepare your body and mind for seated meditation. Each week you’ll receive handouts to support the techniques we cover in class, so you’ll be able to practice at home.

The aim of this course is to offer you a solid foundation in meditation which will inspire you to continue with a regular practice – meaning a healthier, happier you! Who wouldn’t say ‘yes’ to that?

Every twenty-four hour day is such a gift. But in our modern, busy world, we don’t always notice. Our attention is often so focussed on getting things done, making plans, reflecting on the past or thinking about the future, that we tend to overlook what’s happening right now – in the present moment. And that’s such a shame. Especially when you consider how many moments you may have already missed.

Being mindful simply means opening your awareness to the experience of each moment, just as it is. Mindfulness can help you get less caught up in ‘stuff and busyness’, giving you a greater capacity to be more fully present and more actively engaged in your own life. A regular meditation practice is an effective way to invite mindfulness in, which in turn helps you feel calmer and more connected.

Join me for this FREE introduction to Mindfulness Meditation. In this session you will:
